[edit] Blackboard/Knowledge Forum Project

Key personnel: Laurie Harrison, Mark Hume, Avi Hyman, Mike Morrow, Marlene Scardamalia, Wayne Seller, Liz Smythe, Chris Teplovs, and Laurel Williams.

The original ITCDF project proposal can be accessed at ITCDF-Smyth.doc. Note that Liz Smythe was the PI named, though currently she is away on sabbatical.

This project currently consists of three subprojects: (1) Blackboard Knowledge Forum Request (KFR), (2) Blackboard/Knowledge Forum Single Sign-On (SSO) and (3) Blackboard/Knowledge Forum Assessment Dashboard (AD).

Overview

Specifications are currently being formulated. Some exploratory work is being done. See proposed transfer of metrics from Knowledge Forum to Bb and auto-login from Bb to KF.

SSO: Re-purpose alternative login for TDSB code to allow auto-login to KF (Chris).

SSO/AD: Laurel to meet with Andrew Wang, Monday, January 29, 2pm to have orientation to development environment. Meeting with Andrew Wang, Jan 29 meeting notes

SSO: Chris to meet with Laurel Tuesday, January 30, 9:30am to review info from Andrew Wang re: building blocks -- decide on appropriate format to schlep data to Knowledge Forum.

SSO: Next meeting for group: Friday, February 3rd. 4pm.

AD: Meeting with group, Friday, January 26th, 2pm.
