[edit] Converting Databases from Earlier Versions of Knowlegde Forum

Pick this up at the appropriate point:

To convert from version 2 to version 3:

Edit a suitable configuration file from version 3 and start up a version 3 server. Conversion will occur automatically.

To convert from version 3 to version 4.5:

Edit a suitable configuration file from version 4 and start up the version 4 server. Conversion will occur automatically. You must then take down the version 4 server and start it up again!!!!! (i.e. run it twice).

To convert from version 4.5 to version 4.6/4.7:

Use the kftbmigrate tool.
